Covid treatment a challenge to Ayurveda

Covid treatment a challenge to Ayurveda ?

The Covid scenario is getting changed from day to day. Could see bleaching powder in many streets and in front of houses, the frequency of ambulance sounds are more, daily morning getting up with condolence messages by telephone and  WhatsApp .

Whom to be blamed?

Being Selfish we all are making a crime almost like attempt to murder or Murder through our carelessness, ignorance, over confidence and arrogance.

Present situation is beyond unimaginable in India  and our country is not the best for  modern medical system even before the corona period compare to the developed countries. this is time to time proven as many Indian people like sports person, cinema actors, politicians and  many other who could afford  are going  abroad for their surgeries and expert medical care despite India having AIIMS and many other super brand Hospitals . India till date did not got chance for  big budget for health  and broad  minded governments  to improve the medical facilities in Govt sector as it required . Many govt major hospitals does not have ventilators/ ECMO, MRI/CT scan facilities and life saving drugs. Added to this now shortage of oxygen beds and short supply of Remdesivir injections ,vaccines.  medical equipment’s, and trained medical staff . all the above are major  concern in today’s situation.

As Govt of India started promoting alternative medicines as main stream of medicine  could not effectively manage the cases and found immunity increasing as primary step to fight against corona gave way for inclusion of  Ayurveda and other Indian systems of medicine for immunity development and in primary stages of corona patient treatment. The much-awaited recognition from govt of India came in tough times and many Vaidyas were not ready to be in action hence failed  in en cashing the opportunity given to Ayurveda fraternity and could not create bigger impact based on the situation and demand by the much-hyped institutions and Individuals who are icons for Ayurveda did not do ground work to reach the targeted number of people. Its time for the Ayurveda vaidyas to shine and get recognized in the society and can re-establish the Ayurveda in to all homes.

My sincere appeal to Ayurveda   intellectuals, please be proactive in fore front and lead the aspired Vaidya’s with your practical approaches and keep Ayurveda as much sought of system   in  corona free  India map.

Answering the question Ayurveda does not treat diseases and symptoms and we all know treats the body and mind and enhances the immunity, we can shield the covid action on body or in body to certain levels for sure.

In coming days  ayurveda physicans effort and clinical data is very essential to establish statement of successful treatment for covid in Ayurveda.

Jago ayurveda Vaidya  musaphir

Ye apka samai hai .  logonko ayurveda ka siddanth se bachne ka avsar milahai our ayurveda dawai ka jarur be horahahai

pryatna karo savdhan se karyakram banavo ye  corona bhoot se jyada se jyada logonko bachavo !  dikhavo ab apna ayuarveda Vaidya koushaly and parignayan !

Hridaya poorvak, vinamara pooravak pranams to all selfless ayurveda vaidyas who are part of this war and helping   people and patients.

  1. Interesting.
And after roughly one year of the Covid pandemic, how is the image of Ayurveda in India?
I remember that in many places some studies were being conducted to test the efficacy of ayurvedic drugs to treat Covid patients. Even some newspapers published articles about it. Was there an outcome of these studies?

  2. Yes, research is been conducted and outcome is not very much known to people. There are few companies like Atrimed is seriously in to it and doing a lot of research on several areas and may come out with cheerful outcomes in shortwhile. How ever traditional approach is been good but cannot claim as of now that it's a fully successful.
